Mission Statement

We are here to make a difference by working for a sustainable and progressive community

A. The purpose of the Trust:

To meet the real needs of individuals & groups within the community; to promote and encourage young people to expand their experience; to develop and improve the environment and resources of the community.

B. The beneficiaries of the Trust:

Individuals, groups and the whole community of Llanfair Waterdine and its environs.

C. How & where the Trust will work and how we will do it:

The trustees will comply with the Constitution of the Trust and follow the guidelines of best practice produced by the Charity Commission. We will behave towards all beneficiaries with fairness, confidentiality and integrity; towards the whole community with openness and inclusivity.

The Trust's income will be allocated to meet applications for funds.

Applications will be considered for:

1. Grants to individuals, families or groups on the basis of exceptional or challenging circumstances.

2. Bursaries to young people to help them broaden their experiences and accomplishments.

3. Partnerships with groups seeking similar goals to our own.

4. Sponsorship of projects that will be of sustainable benefit to the community.
